Ascension Religious Education helps parents foster in their children the knowledge that they are God’s beloved, so they then can go out and transform the world with that love. Each week fifty-four volunteer catechist lead over 400 children in discovering our shared Catholic faith. We study the gospel message of Jesus Christ and God’s continual revelations in our Catholic traditions. We teach the children how to pray and give thanks as a community of believers. We live out our baptismal call to care of the poor by having the RE families serve at PADS shelters, raise money for a selected Lenten Project, and collect coats and food for our sharing parish.
