Ascension was happy to welcome the Guerin Prep fine arts department choirs and string group on Thursday. Several choirs and an al-male group (the sopran-bros) and an all female group performed for us. The string ensemble included our own alumna, Connie McNulty! We heard pieces in foreign languages, spirituals and pop tunes. We are grateful to Dr. Jordan Chua for bringing these fine students to Ascension.

Third graders in rooms 107 and 108 work on a biography of a famous person. After writing a report, they speak to the class dressed as the subject of the report. The presentations began this week, and we look forward to meeting many interesting people! Every week a few more pictures will be added to the Biography Gallery. Visit often!
