Save the date for this year's Ascension Blue Tie Auction—Saturday, November 18. Maureen and Walter Healy will be the honorees at this year's fabulous Blue Tie Auction. The Healy's have been Ascension friends and boosters for many years, and we are proud to have them and their family and friends as guests of honor.

Both 4th grade classes showed their understanding of the scientific method this week by asking a question, writing a hypothesis, controlling their variables, and creating a plan.  Both classes asked this question, "How high does a ball bounce on different surfaces?"  Today the students got the chance to do their experiment they designed and answer their question.  Way to go 4th graders on another great experiment!

With great love and heartfelt prayers Ascension School remembers our dear friend Mrs. Mildred McDonald as she enters Eternal Life. Mrs. McDonald was a longtime supporter of Ascension, devoted to the school and the children. On February 8, 2013, the entire school walked to her house to sing and celebrate Mrs. McDonald's 100th birthday. On Tuesday, September 20, our parish celebrates the mass of Resurrection; surely the angels have already welcomed her to Paradise.
