SO much to do!

Children’s Christmas Boutique is Saturday, December 3 from 10 AM to 1 PM in the Pine Room. Drop off the children and go to the

Ascension Women’s Cooperative Cookie Walk and Craft Fair is Saturday, December 3 in the gym.

Tea With Santa is presented by Home & School's  this Sunday December 4 after 11:00 Mass from noon to 2:30 PM.

The 8th graders on the math team took 2nd place in the small schools category at the Nazareth math competition. Sam came in 1st in the same division. 

Before Thanksgiving the math and science teams also did really well at Fenwick's competitions. In science,  Finley Huggins placed very well.In Math, Sam came in 3rd, he and Finley came in 2nd in the two person competition and Ascension placed second as a school.

Ascension fifth graders assembled a record-high 16 teams to compete in the school's Fall Reading Olympics competition on Tuesday, November 29th. Each team of three to four students answered rounds of questions relating to nine total books. At the end of a very close contest, the Page Turners, comprised of Abby, Molly, Lizzie, and Daria, emerged victorious.

Please consider baking for the AWC Cookie Walk that will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2016! We need 3-4 dozen holiday cookies; please place them in a disposable container that will not be able to be returned. Cookies can be dropped off with curbside delivery, at the gym off Clarence Avenue, during the following times: Friday, December 2, 4:30-6:30pm and Saturday, December 3, from 8-9:30 am.

Students, faculty, staff and parents gathered to give thanks on Tuesday, November 22. We demonstrated our love and care for the poor by collecting for St. Martin's Food Pantry.

7th graders attended the Back Stage Tour of Lyric Opera! They are preparing to see Mozart's The Magic Flute! Students loved trying on costumes and holding shields and weapons!

We wore red for out of uniform day on November 18
Ascension students wore red clothing in place of uniforms on Friday, November 18 to celebrate the installation of Blaise Cupich as a Cardinal of the Church of Chicago.
