Yesterday, the Green Club worked outdoors to plant 54 pansy plants they had painted at the previous meeting. The pots and plants were donated by Empowering Gardens, a garden center in Forest Park that is owned by parishioner Dick Biggins. Next Tuesday, third grade students will distribute the flowers to parishioners who attend the daily morning mass with them as Easter gifts.

Even though we were on Spring Break last week, many wonderful things were happening! The Classic League championship results included 6th grade, 2nd place and grades 7 & 8 in 3rd. Steve Hinton was named League MVP! All those Student Council lollipop added up to a great contribution for Rwanda. And how delighted were the students when Mrs. Vainisi delivered them! Hard-cover books filled with their Superhero Stories greeted Room 103 after break; A Hearth Health assembly taught good habits just before the break.Wednesday was our Lenten Mass and Friday is the Run-a-Thon!

Apr 3

Sixth graders prepared the Lenten Mass today, attended by grades 1 through 8.  Fr. Hurlbert's homily compared Jesus' "I AM" to the same name of God from the story of Moses, Jesus' death was not the end and like Him we must prepare to rise again.
