Today was our final all-school mass of the year. Our first graders participated as readers, lectors, and petition readers. The story of St. Juan Diego's vision of Mary was presented by three 7th graders, from the vision to the visits to the local Bishop, concluding with the shower of roses from his cloak, now miraculously picturing the Virgin of Guadalupe. After communion, the first graders sang La Guadalupana in Spanish; trey had been prepared by Ms. Bowdy, Mrs. Blatner and Ms. Sefton.

Ascension students were extremely generous today, donating non-perishable food items for the St. Martin's Food Pantry. Grade 4 did an outstanding job providing leadership in readings and intercessions. Student Council managed the collection, boxed the items and helped with delivery to the pantry.  See our Gallery and a video.

Our Amazing Blue Tie Auction took place on Saturday, November 17 in the school gym. Wonderfully displayed items received plenty of attention from guests who were happy to bid! A delicious dinner was served, courtesy of Chef Vogel, and then the live auction began. A highlight of the evening was the Auction Video, encouraging our guests to fund Ascension's Mission with STEM curricula during the next year. Alumni John Pollard described his incredible parents, this year's honorees Jill and Chip Pollard. Enjoy our pictures and the 2018 Paddle Raise Auction video!
