A Blessed Thanksgiving to all!
Mission Day 2016 is around the corner. It's Friday, February 12th! The games are chosen and the prizes are ordered. Volunteers are needed to make this a success. Mission Day is an annual event to raise awareness and collect funds for the Church’s mission efforts. Ascension School’s founding nuns, the Ursuline Sisters, started this fund raiser in 1957. It has grown to be one of the most memorable events of the school for generations.
On Wednesday, November 24 the entire school gathers for Thanksgiving prayer in the church. Students donated breakfast, lunch or dinner items for our brothers and sisters at St. Martin de Porres Parish. Bless you for your generosity!
