The Ascension School Board is an advisory group which assists the Pastor and Principal. It develops and recommends policies, advises on the School's budget, recommends tuition rates to the Pastor, helps to promote the School and its programs, and assists with fundraising. Every year, three new members are elected to a three-year term. As a Board member, you will be required to attend monthly School Board meetings and serve as a representative at various events throughout the year. CDC recommends a three-step approach to fighting influenza (flu).
The first and most important step is to get a flu vaccination each year. But if you get the flu, there are prescription antiviral drugs that
can treat your illness. Early treatment is especially important for the elderly, the very young, people with certain chronic
health conditions, and pregnant women.
Finally, everyday preventive actions may slow the spread of germs that cause respiratory (nose, throat, and lungs) illnesses, like flu.
