Join us in congratulation the First Communicants, their parents and catechists! Many of the parish and school children received First Eucharist at masses on May 4th and 5th. The remainder of the children will receive on May 11th or 12th. God bless you!

Friday, May 3, 2019 dawned sunny and mild – perfect for welcoming our favorite grandparents and grand-friends to our school! Visits to classrooms, taking photographs, having refreshments and attending mass, all shared with our loved ones!

Last week included some free time for students and learning opportunities for faculty! We are back in the "Spring" of things with activities indoor and out. Was Easter only a week in the past?

Today students in PK-4 - grade 6 learned about environmental challenges at the Joey Fine Rhyme Assembly. Focusing on energy, climate, and waste, he inspired students in believing they can make a positive difference in their world. Teachers thought his message and presentation were on point, well-presented, and definitely engaging and memorable for the kids.

On Monday, April 29, 2019, 8th grade students took a field trip to the Illinois Holocaust Museum and Education Center in Skokie. This trip is the culmination of a semester-long unit on the Holocaust. Students heard a survivor speak about her experiences in Kiev, Ukraine.
