Chocolate Advent Calendars, Advent Candles, Brass Advent Rings are available for purchase on November 23-24 at ALL Masses. On December 1, the sale will be at the Ascension 10:30am Mass ONLY.

Thanksgiving Mass will be celebrated at 10:00am at St. Edmund Church. At 11:30am in Murphy Hall, join us for a complimentary Thanksgiving dinner. You are welcome to bring a side dish or dessert. Meals can also be delivered to those unable to join us on Wednesday afternoon.

The Neighborhood Bridge is the Renew My Church initiative: “to use the St. Catherine-St. Lucy campus as a base for powerful social ministry outreach to our neighbors on the West Side."

Come to the next Spiritual Classics gathering on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at 7:00 pm in the Ascension Parish Center Dining Room, when we’ll discuss Max Picard’s book, "The World of Silence", with Rich Kordesh leading the discussion.

The Migrant Ministry was created in June 2023 to respond to a humanitarian crisis in our area by providing food, clothing, and showers to asylum seekers who arrived in Chicago. Powered entirely by volunteers, the ministry welcomes adults and children with breakfast and donated clothing each Tuesday and Thursday morning. In addition, the ministry connects migrants with medical providers, aid to find housing or temporary shelter, and other assistance to settle into the community.

We collect nonperishable food on the third weekend of the month for our sharing parish, St. Simon of Cyrene.
